How long will it take to clean my house?

Every home is unique, from the size of the house to the amount of cleaning desired. Most homes that we maintain on a regular basis are cleaned in four to six hours.

Will the housekeepers bring their own equipment and supplies?

Yes. The housekeepers bring all of the equipment and supplies needed to clean your home properly.

Will you send one housekeeper or a team?

We have both individual housekeepers as well as teams. Depending on your needs, time constraints, and location, we will determine whether a team or an individual will work best for you.

Will I have the same housekeeper every time?

Yes. Your housekeeper or team will continue to clean your house for as long as you remain completely satisfied with your service.

Will the housekeeper do laundry and ironing?

Yes. We have housekeepers who provide those services at no extra cost to the homeowner.

Will the housekeeper work off a priority list that I provide?

Yes. We prefer to work off your priority list but can work off our own list if necessary. The more we understand what you are looking for, the happier you will be with the service.

What time of day will the housekeeper start?

Our housekeepers generally begin their morning jobs at 8:00 am. As the day moves on, it is possible that your housekeeper or team may encounter issues which delay our arrival at your home such as traffic or a client needing unanticipated extra help. Therefore, we will give you a window of time to expect your housekeepers.

Is Shannon’s Personnel Service insured and bonded?

Yes. We are both insured and bonded.

Is there any discount for weekly or bi-weekly cleaning?

Yes. We do offer a discount for customers using us either weekly or bi-weekly.

Do you service areas outside of San Antonio?

Yes. Please call to confirm that we service your area. Some areas will incur a trip charge.

Can I feel confident leaving the housekeeper alone in my home?

Yes. All of our housekeepers have passed a background check and we maintain accurate, current files on everyone we send to your home.

Do I need to tip?

At Shannon’s, we love our housekeepers and want them to stay with our company. Therefore, we pay them very competitive wages. Tipping is entirely up to you. It is always appreciated, but there is no expectation of a tip.
